Add your products to the product catalogue. Create a product page for each product with images, descriptions, price information, order code,
comments and in stock information.
If you are using the E-Commerce features in combination with the Small Business, Professional or Hosting Edition of the Asbru Web Content Management system you will also be able to organise your products in your own groups and types and you will be able to delegate editing, publishing and creation of products to different website administrators.
Product templates to suit each product category can be created. Product templates provide website managers with complete control and flexibility over the layout of product pages. Product descriptions, photos, links, other media and custom product data can be added anywhere on a product page by placing special product attribute tags in a standard HTML/XHTML product template document.
Add a shopping cart to your website to enable your visitors to select multiple products for purchase. You have full control in designing the layout of the shopping cart and in adding comments, in stock information and order codes for individual products. Website visitors can change product quantities, remove products completely and see the current order total.
Add checkout functionality to your website. During the checkout process your customers will be able provide you with the details you require to process their order such as invoice, delivery, shipping and payment details. Your customers will also be able to see the shipping and tax payable and the final order total.
When the checkout is complete the products required by the customer and their details will be added to the Order List in the content management system.
The E-Commerce features enable you to comply with a wide range of different tax regimes. Define different tax rates for different delivery destinations and order sizes or a specific tax for a specific product. Define the tax as a percentage or as a fixed amount per item or per order. Taxes defined in the system will automatically be added when your customers check out.

Payment Processing enables you to accept payments online through an Internet payment service provider. To use PayPal payment processing you just need to enter your PayPal account, a payments description and select a page to redirect your customers to when they complete/cancel their
When a customer has completed the checkout procedure he/she will receive an Order Confirmation e-mail. The e-mail will be sent to the e-mail
address provided by the customer and will include a list of the products ordered, prices, taxes, shipping costs and customer details.
How much information you want to provide in the Order Confirmation e-mail is configurable and you have full flexibility in designing the order confirmation e-mail.
Your sales/order department will be notified by e-mail whenever a customer has placed a new order. The Order Notification e-mail will include a
list of the products ordered, prices, taxes, shipping costs and details about the customer.
Use the Order Tracking functionality to manage all your orders. You will have a complete list of all orders with complete information about the
customer, the products ordered and shipping and tax rates. All order details can be changed and the order status can be updated. When you
have updated the order status you can choose to send an Order Status e-mail notification to the customer. When you have completed the
processing of an order you can delete it from the system.
Enable your customers to select their preferred currency. All product prices, tax costs and shipping costs will automatically be converted and
displayed in the preferred currency. Create as many currencies as required and maintain currency exchange rates through import of
exchange rates. (The Multi-Currency features are only available if you are using E-Commerce in combination with the Small Business, Professional or Hosting Edition of the Asbru Web Content Management System.)
Create multi-lingual and other multi-version e-commerce websites with different currencies and automatic currency exchange. Provide your customers with product descriptions in their preferred language and prices in the appropriate currency. (The multi-lingual features are only
available if you are using E-Commerce in combination with the Small Business, Professional or Hosting Edition of the Asbru Web Content Management System.)
